Introduction

Cards are an addition to the traditional-style board gameplay to add a more strategic element. Cards often costs stars to use, so while they may be handy in gaining the upper-hand if used well, they hold a risk. Different cards can be bought in the "Shopping" button from the main menu with different rarities. Either just to satisfy your collecting cravings or to dominate your friends on the board, cards are sure to make the game a much more entertaining experience!

Card Types

Boost - Cards that tend to effect only one individual.

Event - Cards that tend to effect the entire board as a whole.

Battle - Cards that can only be used in a battle confrontation.

Trap - Cards that are laid out on the field and take effect on the person who lands on them.

Hyper - Card with special and powerful effects. Each character in 100%OJ has their own personalized hyper card.

Stock - Cards that do not take effect until certain conditions are met. (ex. on the player's next turn or stepping on a drop panel)

Card Layout

1. Card Name - Self Explanatory

2. Card Level - Determines the level the player has to be to use the card.

3. Card Cost - Determines how many star bits need to be used in order to use the card. Green stars equal to 1. Gold stars equal to 10.

4. Card Description - Tells the card's effect. Also has a brief commentary that represents the card.

Notes

Some Things To Note

  • Cards can be purchased through the shopping button on the main menu. New booster packs are unlocked through beating campaigns, and points can be collected through playing campaign and regular, and online matches.
  • Players can only carry 3 cards at a time. If a player that has a full hand lands on a card panel, they will be asked to discard any one card.
  • In a match, all four players select ten cards from the ones they own to make up a board deck of 40 cards (not including Hypers). So know that the cards you select can also be drawn and used by your opponents.
  • Cards return to the board deck after being used, so it is possible to use the same card more then once.
