Long ago 6 aliens came to Earth looking for Krispy Kreme, but there were no Krispy Kremes in the Cenozoic Era, only death and betrayal. This is the Cenozoic Blue Ranger, unnamed but not forgotten.

Overview

A kind-of-straightforward character with good normals, spacing tools, frame traps, a teleport, self-explanatory combos, and a powered-up stun move that enables him to extend combos. Put all of that together, and you have an interesting character with lots of tools in his arsenal, and he's not afraid to use them. The teleport alone makes him a very 50/50-based character, and with a very hard-to-deal-with assist, he's that kind of character that feels easy to understand to most fighting game players, while allowing advanced players to make full use of the dirty stuff. Do you have any idea of the power that he possesses?

(Blue Burst)

This is a rather interesting move because of how it interacts with the rest of Cenozoic Blue Ranger's Special Moves, so let's break it down:

Pressing 5S by itself will perform a short-ranged burst of electricity that deals damage and knocks the opponent backwards on hit. Upon completing the animation (even if it doesn't hit the opponent), Cenozoic's hands are covered with a surge of electricity, signifying he has gained a charge. Cenozoic can store up to two of these charges, which he can use to enhance the rest of his Special Moves.

Using the move again with a charge already stored performs another (Blue Burst) which, in addition to the electricity in his hands, envelops Cenozoic's entire body with a blue energy field and provides yet another charge.

If Cenozoic has one charge stored, it has the peculiar effect of very slightly increasing the damage output of Cenozoic's normals, 5S and Super. This damage boost does not increase with two charges.

(Blue Thunder Crash)

Finally, using the move once more with two (Blue Burst) charges summons two full-screen pillars (one that moves in front, and another that moves behind Cenozoic) that, on hit, act as a highly damaging stun move that holds the opponent in place, allowing for combo extensions, or mix-ups afterwards. This move gained OTG properties in version 1.6, further increasing its effectiveness.

This move consumes both of Cenozoic's charges.

(Thunder Pit)

Upon use, Cenozoic Blue Ranger creates a lightning pit. Moments later, a lightning bolt strikes the pit.

Can place 2 pits on screen by holding 1 instead of 4.

If Cenozoic has one (Blue Burst) charge stored, the move creates two lightning pits, thus creating two lightning bolts. This version consumes 1 charge.

The lightning bolts have a "reverse launch" effect, sending opponents flying towards Cenozoic Blue Ranger; additionally, the furthermost lightning bolt will always be deployed first. Both versions of the move have OTG properties.

(Repulsor Blasts)

With this move, Cenozoic Blue Ranger creates an electric current through his hand. Can hit up to 3 times using 6SSS. This move has very deceptive reach, reaching further than its animation lets on.

If Cenozoic has one (Blue Burst) charge stored, the move changes completely: Cenozoic will create an advancing projectile that deals multiple hits and slows down while traveling. This version consumes 1 charge.

It's still possible to use the uncharged version of the move with 3S, even if you have a charge.

(Air Blue Burst)

Cenozoic performs an aerial version of (Blue Burst). It is completely identical to the grounded version.

If Cenozoic has one (Blue Burst) charge stored, Cenozoic will instead generate a wormhole, then teleport behind and above the opponent in a normal fall state. This version consumes 1 charge.

Upon using this move, Cenozoic Blue Ranger will create a short-ranged electric blast. If it connects, he will proceed to create longer-ranged blasts to bombard the opponent, with the final one sending them flying towards Cenozoic Blue Ranger. This move has some invincibility.

Cenozoic Blue Ranger creates two wormholes and launches himself in them, storing huge amounts of kinetic energy. Then, a third portal is created, from which Cenozoic launches himself towards the opponent.

This super travels very fast, covering the entire screen in an instant.
