Mikoto is a gifted violinist who is a first year student at a musical arts college, and has already won an international music competition in Germany. After losing both of her parents at a young age, Mikoto was raised by her musician uncle. In order to fulfill her promise to perform a private recital for her uncle, Mikoto wishes for a cure to the illness that has rendered her deaf.

Overview

Mikoto is Phantom Breaker Star character and considered Well rounded. Similar to other Fighting game protagonist she sports versatile move set to accommodate most scenario such as projectile for zoning, Dragon Punch for reversal and Anti Airs, and even a tatsu like move to close distance. Mikoto’s normal are among the largest in the game and have impressive reach. She is slow for having all this but thankfully she hits like a truck and in the running for having best Phantom Breakers of each style.

Recommended Style

Quick: While Hard style damage multiplier and Mikoto base damage being high lets her depletes opponent life in a short time, her combo ability and overall neutral is weaker due to her slowness. Quick's double jump help her mobility, and Quick's Nullify attack give her a fighting chance against zoner. Mikoto'counter burst becomes decent mid screen poke that she can confirm with slipshift cancel. Quick's Phantom Breaker is the perfect Whiff punish tool, and nigh impossible to jump over it.
