Introduction

IRA GAMAGOORI

Ira Gamagoori, the head of the disciplinary committee at the academy. He uses his two part uniform, the defensive Shackle Regalia and the offensive Scourge Regalia. The Shackle Regalia is used to absorb the punishment dealt out by the opponent and the Scourge Regalia uses spiked whips to dish out huge amounts of damage in sudden bursts against the enemy.

Patience and solid defensive play must be used to play Gamagoori to his strengths. He may be slow on the ground, but he has the highest amount of health in the game. This allows him to take lots of abuse from both himself and the opponent. You cannot sit in Shackle Regalia all day however, as it counts as blocking and a guard break will knock you out of it.

Gamagoori excels at a medium range due to his whips and will deal absurd amount of damage with enough damage charge. If he gets a hit in, you will feel it. He struggles somewhat with projectiles, so the aforementioned patience must be used. Valor is somewhat important to him, as the cap of DC going from 100% to 300% will serve as a large boon.

  • Try to not have this move come out, otherwise you're liable to be punished.
  • Replaces any grounded followup if DC depletes to 0%.
  • Can cancel into d.b or 5AAC.


5A (DC) 160 to 480 17 Knockdown - +90 to +300 Damage
  • Max DC Consumption: 10%
  • Gamagoori whips to the left then to the right with a large amount of range.
  • A good all around starter. Hits twice, and comes out a bit faster than 4/6A.
  • Please note how damage is recorded for moves that require DC. The lower number is if you do not have the full amount of DC required for the move, and the higher number is if you do. In this case, having 10% DC will yield 480 total damage while having any less will yield only 160 total damage.

  • Max DC Consumption: 10%
  • Gamagoori slams his whips onto the ground, bouncing the opponent off the ground and up into the air.

  • The infamous "Whip of Love". An ender that trades a good chunk of DC for a good chunk of damage. However, cannot be followed up.

  • Upon landing (at 0%), Gamagoori jumps off the ground and can perform aerials afterwards.
  • Can cancel into 5AA > 2/8AC.

  • Gamagoori covers the stage with a barrage of whips, throwing the opponent all over the place.
  • A less damaging ender but gives the most meter out of all of Gamagoori's enders at a respectable 25%.
  • The opponent will land unpredictably, sometimes they will be launched far away from you and sometimes they will be pulled towards you, allowing for a possible follow up with a close ranged special attack.

  • Above 0% DC will have Gamagoori pull his opponent back into a punch ender with average damage.
  • At 100% DC Gamagoori will lift the opponent back up and slam them into the ground for huge damage.
  • Damage/Hitstun Armor on startup.

Shackle Regalia: Transform

  • Gamagoori morphs into his Shackle Regalia form.
  • Shackle Regalia reduces damage from incoming attacks and increases Gamagoori's Damage Charge.
    • Can still be KO'd from the reduced damage, so do not forget that you have a normal block.
  • Shackle Regalia is a blocking state, blocking hitstun but is vulnerable to Guard Breaks.
  • Shackle Regalia transformation is not frame 1, making it susceptible to meaties.
  • 5B causes Gamagoori to whip himself, dealing self damage and increasing his DC by 20%.
    • Can be done repeatedly.
  • Pressing 5B while blocking causes Gamagoori to go into Shackle Regalia.
    • Won't deal self damage and DC is increased by 5%.
  • Blocking for 2 seconds and not getting hit causes Gamagoori to go into Shackle Regalia.
    • Won't deal self damage and DC is increased by 15%.
  • Moving while in Shackle Regalia will make Gamagoori hop in the direction inputted.
    • During the hop, you can cancel it into j.B or j.[B] by holding the button and releasing it during the jump.
  • Gamagoori cannot KO himself with self damage (at 1 HP he still gains DC).
  • Shackle Regalia is unaffected by pushback and Guard Crush.
